Since the very first season of Skolnity, we’ve been hosting annual wood sculpture open-air events. Using chainsaws as their primary tool, artists from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia create incredible works of art right before your eyes.
Each event typically lasts four days (Thursday to Sunday) and is dedicated to a specific theme, chosen in advance.
All sculptures created over the years are displayed in the meadow near the upper station of the Skolnity Ski & Bike Park chairlift. Among them, you’ll find depictions of Christ the Man of Sorrows, characters from Tolkien’s novels, and fearsome mountain bandits.
