Skolnity is the year-round Ski & Bike Park Resort placed in the centre of Wisła, just next to ski jumping complex. Down station of chairlift is 700 m away from a train station. It’s the most comfortable localization for a ski resort in Wisła.
Skolnity is called “Wisła’s Roof” because the top station is located 660 m.a.s.l. During a chairlift ride we can see a beautiful city skyline at any time of the year.
Complex was made in 09.01.025 and is located in north-eastearn slope of Skolnity Mountain. Thanks to their location we have better chances for a good atmospheric conditions than southern, sunny slopes.
Skolnity Ski & Bike Park belongs to Penguin’s Group.
At the winter, Skolnity is: a 4-person 800 m chairlift, 2 ski runs with different difficulty level ( 1100 m and 980 m). Pistes are coming through a forest which makes run enrich. Both trails have lighting and advanced snow-making system. There are two free parkings. At the down station (near parkings above ticket office) was prepared Penguin’s Glade with magic carpet lift (70m) for children and begginers with place fo sledders. You can find here also a ski rent and a ski school.
From summer to fall Skolnity Ski & Bike Park welcomes everyone who want to try riding on a mountain bike trails. Prepared for bikers almost 9 km one-way paths. Green Zigzag, Blue Wave and Red Arrow are mountain trails with different difficulty. Paths starts at the top station and bikes transport there is possible thanks to special hooks which allows bikes to hang by a wheel or by a frame.
Skolnity Ski & Bike Park is not only a heaven for skiers and bikers but also it’s a perfect place to spend your free time no matter the age. Next to the top station you can find year-round pen with alpacas and donkey, the Alley of Sculptures and a playground.
Great interest of skiers, and also hikers visiting us in the summer season is an observation deck on the top station as well as Tavern on Skolnity with pizza from a wood-fired oven. Apart from great kitchen, the tavern can show off a ponoramic view on mountains. Terrace with wind shields was added to the Tavern, which is recommended for a very special events.
A view of the whole city opens from the terrace and makes the top station a great relaxation zone and also a popular place for events.
